The Weatherwax Life Group is a friendly class of adults in their 60s-80s who love to study the Word, fellowship together, and minister as a group. Phil's teaching style is lecture with discussion.
Phil and his wife Mary were married in 2022. Phil has two adult daughters. He is retired from Bellevue’s Community Missions Ministry and is very active in homeless ministry at Memphis Union Mission and Calvary Rescue Mission. He also loves Tiger basketball and golf. Mary has an adult son and is a retired hospital interior designer. She enjoys politics and exploring theater, music, and arts in Memphis. Together they enjoy lunches with group members and 5th Sunday lunches in the class.
